ABOUT
I’m Thanawan Suwan (Mameaw), an Interior Designer who in love with jewelry since childhood.
I noticed that most jewelry brands in Thailand tend to follow fast fashion trends, use materials that are not long-lasting, or if the materials are good, the designs and story often don’t reflect who I am.
So I decided to start designing my own. I wanted to create something that genuinely represents my identity — not just ordinary jewelry, but pieces that tell stories, reflect the value of art, celebrate Thai craftsmanship, and care for the environment.
These three elements are what inspired the creation of mormormor.
mormormor
(conceptual art jewelry)
“mormormor” means mor(e)³ than jewelry.
We’re creating a balance between art, humanity, and the environment — coexisting in the unique way of mormormor.
mor(e)³ = art + humanity + environment
art: brings joy and defines who we are.
humanity: valuing all people.
environment: waste reborn.
Together, these elements redefine what jewelry can be, merging beauty with meaning and responsibility.
